Privacy policy

OmniNovel is designed around a local library. You do not need an OmniNovel account to read. The app does not include advertising or built-in analytics. Some features connect directly to websites you choose; those sites can see the requests sent to them.
Information stored on your device
Imported EPUB files, downloaded chapters, covers, reading progress, bookmarks, notes, categories and appearance preferences are stored in the app's local storage. Passwords and other secrets saved by the app use the device Keychain. Website sessions may also be stored by iOS WebKit. We do not operate a central service that receives a copy of your library or reading history.
When the app connects to the internet
If you use web sources, OmniNovel contacts the websites and extension catalogs you add or select to retrieve listings, chapters, images and updates. The app may also check a configuration service used to pause a source when necessary. These services can receive ordinary network information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL and browser information. Each service controls its own data practices; consult its privacy policy before using it.
Backups and sharing
You can create a local backup and choose where to save or share it. Backups can contain your library and reading data, but are designed to exclude passwords and website sessions. Your device's iCloud or computer backups may also contain app data, depending on your settings. Apple or your chosen storage provider governs those backups. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device but does not automatically delete copies you exported or stored elsewhere.
Purchases
If paid features are offered, purchases are handled by Apple's in-app purchase system. OmniNovel does not receive your payment card details. Apple handles purchase records under its own privacy terms.
This website and support
This website uses no advertising cookies or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may process technical access logs for delivery and security. If you contact support, the details you provide and your email address are used to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, session cookies or sensitive book content.
Your choices
You can remove books and data in the app, stop using a web source, or delete the app. You can manage device backups in iOS settings and delete exported files wherever you saved them. If you have a privacy question, contact support@omninovel.app.
